Art prints
Giclée is a high-resolution, museum quality Fine-Art reproduction, also called Archival Print. They are almost indistinguishable from original paintings. Galleries around the world are displaying giclée prints alongside with originals.
These artworks are made with an ultra-high-resolution fine-art printer, using eleven cartridges of the very finest archival inks on acid-free paper or canvas. A Fine-art Giclée is created by tiny jets spraying millions of droplets of archival, pigmented inks onto a sheet of fine art, acid-free paper or onto cotton canvas. Hence the name giclée is French for "fine spray."
These Giclées will last 50-100+ years before any noticeable shift in color integrity occurs. Unlike regularly printed reproductions, Giclées are truly durable "Museum quality" Fine-Art reproductions.
Please keep in mind that monitors display colors differently. Colors on products you receive may vary slightly from the image you see on your screen.
Yes. Every art print can be purchased in custom sizes, both smaller and larger than the sizes shown on site. FAQ
Finding a Suitable Artwork
Searching for art that not only matches personal taste and home decor but also resonates deeply and provides spiritual support can be challenging. It’s often difficult to find pieces that reflect the buyer’s heart and beliefs, support spiritual growth, and harmonize with the existing interior. A good solution is to search online, explore a wide range of artists who share your values and preferred themes and styles. Once you find a suitable piece, research the artist’s background and contact them directly if you have any questions. This can alleviate doubts and clarify your decision.
Pricing and Budget
Art prices can vary greatly, and it’s often difficult to assess whether a particular piece is worth its price, especially for original works. Buyers might feel uncertain about making an investment. Searching online for similar professional works and comparing prices can provide confidence. Art prints are much more affordable and pose less risk than originals, yet they convey the same message and spiritual depth. High-quality prints are created to last and offer spiritual support and visual pleasure for years.
Originality and Authenticity
How can you be sure that the artwork you are buying is authentic and not a forgery? This is especially important for more expensive pieces. Research the artist’s background and, if possible, buy directly from the artist. For originals, the artist should provide a certificate of authenticity. Ensure you receive this certificate when purchasing. For more expensive pieces, consider having them appraised by a professional.
Knowledge and Appreciation of Art
Many people lack sufficient knowledge about art to evaluate a piece’s quality and value, which can lead to fear of making a wrong purchase. Educate yourself by reading books and articles, exploring art websites, and gathering information on art evaluation to enhance your knowledge. Visit museums and galleries to see different styles and understand what appeals to you. If possible, join online art communities, forums, and social media groups to learn from others and get recommendations.
Choosing the Right Gallery and Artist
Deciding where and from whom to buy art can be challenging. There are numerous galleries and artists, and finding a trustworthy and reputable seller can be a challenge. Research reviews and ratings of galleries and artists before making a purchase. Ask for recommendations from friends, family, or art professionals with experience in buying art. Art fairs and exhibitions are great places to meet multiple artists and galleries in one place and make informed choices.
Logistics and Transportation
Transporting and installing larger and more valuable pieces can be complex and costly. Safe delivery and proper installation of art often require professional assistance. Sometimes, purchased artworks are shipped unframed to reduce transportation costs. In such cases, the buyer needs to find a local framing shop to stretch the canvas and, if desired, add a decorative frame. Always clarify the transport method before purchasing and inquire about the potential cost of framing. Whenever possible, use professional services to ensure safe transport and correct installation. Additionally, ensure the artwork is insured during transport to cover potential damages.
Finding the Right Placement
Even if the right piece is found, finding the appropriate placement at home can be a challenge. Consider lighting, wall size, and other decorative elements. Assess your space, take measurements, and photograph your room to visualize where the artwork would fit. Ensure the chosen spot has adequate lighting to highlight the artwork without causing damage. If needed, add dedicated lighting for the artwork. It’s also important that the piece doesn’t appear too large or too small in its chosen location. To be confident in your choice, we offer a free solution: send a photo of the wall, the height of the wall or the width of the sofa, and the name of the painting you wish to buy. Our team will create a mock-up so you can confidently assess the suitability of the artwork’s size and placement.
Canvas art prints have become a trendy choice for wall decor, known for their vibrant colors and the ability to add character to any room. With the plethora of options available, it can be challenging to find the perfect piece for your space. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to select the ideal canvas art prints for your home or office.
Understanding Canvas Art Prints
Before making a choice, it's important to grasp what canvas art prints are and how they differ from other decor types. Canvas art prints are high-quality reproductions of original artworks, printed on canvas fabric. Usually, the canvas is stretched over a wooden frame, and can be displayed with or without an additional outer frame for a polished look.
A significant advantage of canvas art prints is their resilience. Unlike traditional paper prints, canvas prints are more resistant to moisture and sunlight, making them perfect for humid environments or rooms with a lot of natural light.
Determining the Right Size
Another benefit of canvas art prints is their versatility in size.
Whether you need something for a small wall or want to make a bold statement on an ample blank space, canvas prints can accommodate any size requirement.
For smaller areas, opt for smaller canvas prints or create a gallery wall with multiple pieces to add visual interest without overwhelming the room. Conversely, if you have a larger wall to decorate, an oversized canvas print can become the room's focal point. A large piece of art can add drama and make your space feel more expansive.
Your chosen canvas should fit well with the wall space and the room's overall aesthetic. Consider oversized prints or a collection of smaller canvases arranged gallery-style for large, blank walls.
Picking Suitable Themes and Styles
Your canvas art prints' theme and style should align with your room's decor. Whether you lean towards abstract, realistic, or modern art, countless options fit every preference.
If you're unsure which theme or style to choose, take inspiration from our gallery. A vivid abstract piece might enhance a monochromatic room, while more minimal art could enhance a colorful space.
Consider making your canvas art print unique by choosing an image that is special to you or your family. Adding personal touches to your wall decor allows you to create a space that showcases your personality and narrates your story.
Customizing Your Canvas Art Prints
One of the great features of canvas art prints is the ability to personalize them. You can choose the size, materials, and frame colors to match your vision perfectly.
Conclusion
Selecting canvas art prints for your walls is a fun process that allows you to express your style and improve your living space. By understanding canvas art prints, choosing the right size and style, and customizing them to your taste, you can create an eye-catching wall display that will impress, engage, and lift up everyone who visits your home or office.
